We had a great Valentine's Day. Students had a lot of fun during our party. A big thank you to the parent volunteers who helped. We couldn't have done it without you. After our party we passed out Valentine's. It was so fun to watch students look through them and get excited about the cute things they received. Thank you for taking the time to help them with their cards and teaching them kindness at home. It really shows at school.

Valentine Friend Grams

Valentine Friend-Grams

This is an opportunity for students to surprise someone in the school with a fun token of friendship. Students may purchase cute Valentine cards that will be attached to a small treat and delivered to the classes on Valentine’s Day (Friday, February 14) Please see below for additional details:

• $.25 each

• February 10-12 (Monday-Wednesday)

• 8:00-8:25 am and 3:10-3:45 pm 

• Q1 Lobby

We are excited for our Valentine's Day celebration. Students are encouraged to bring Valentine's cards and/or candy to share with the class. However, please remind them not to write the names of individual students on the cards, as this takes too much time to distribute and can lead to mix-ups with the bags.

Each student only needs to write their name on the "FROM" part of each Valentine. Additionally, please do not send a decorated box or sack with your child, as we will provide those materials at school.

There are 25 students in the class.

We celebrated 100 days of school last Friday. We had a disco party, made hats and played some games. It was a great time.

Parent Teacher Conferences were wonderful! I am so impressed with our students and their willingness and perseverance in doing hard things. It was fun to see them so excited and also very proud to show you what they have been doing in first grade!! I enjoyed sharing their growth and learning so far this year. I can’t wait to see what they will accomplish the rest of this year. They are truly amazing. I appreciate all that you are doing to support their learning at home. Thank you!!!
