Hi, my name is Kristin Marietti and I’m excited to be teaching 1st grade this year. I LOVE being a teacher. It was my dream as a child and I’m so glad I followed my dreams. I have been in education for 11 years. I have taught 4th grade for 5 years and 2nd grade for 6 years. What an honor it is to be starting my 12th year of teaching at Quest Academy. I’m so excited to learn and grow from the teachers, staff, students, and parents here.

I have two loves in life. My first love is my family. I have been married to my husband, Alan, for 24 years. We have 3 beautiful daughters together. Lauryn, 20, Madalyn, 18 and Kamryn, 16. I love animals, especially dogs. We have a Black Lab named Lettie, a Beagle named Poppy, and a Mountain Cur named Maisey. They bring me so much happiness. When I have free time, I love to garden, listen to music, bake and play the piano. I also enjoy playing board games with my family and roasting marshmallows around the campfire.
My second love is being a teacher. Teaching is my passion. I love watching each of my students grow academically as we build on new skills. But my heart truly loves watching students foster perseverance, initiative, and resilience. We will do hard things this year. We will learn together, and we will grow together. It is my hope they leave our classroom knowing they are loved, needed and important. I am so excited to teach your child this year. Thank you for trusting me with them.
